"One of my best memories with Ava was freshman year winter formal. Me and her didn’t go to the same school but I was lucky enough to bring her to my schools winter formal. It was one of the first few times we had hung out since leaving our elementary/middle school and starting our high school lives. We were getting ready together talking about how excited we were for the night and I just remember thinking “Wow. Me and this girl really are gonna be friends for life.” Because of how normal it still felt to be with each other despite not being a part of each others everyday lives anymore. "When Ava was younger she and May and Makayla would come and have sleep overs at my house down in the family room. I would make platters of good veggies and snacks because they all loved healthy food, Lo too. They would stay up all hours, singing, using the Karaoke, I could hear the TV and giggling and trips to the kitchen well past midnight.
