The Ava Crews Scholarship Fund is dedicated to supporting the continued education of students from Scappoose High School who exemplify kindness, compassion and a desire to help others. One recipient is selected by the school scholarship committee and Ava's family each year.

Sauvie Island School
The Ava Lee Crews Memorial Scholarship at Sauvie Island School honors values such as education, compassion, community service, creativity, perseverance, and dedication to supporting the well-being of others. Students who have attended Sauvie Island School for at least three years are eligible to apply.

The 2026 Ava Crews Scholarship Recipient: DD Wolfe
We are proud to present the first ever Ava Crews Scholarship at Scappoose High School to DD Wolfe, a senior who exemplifies kindness, compassion and a desire to help others. During his senior year, DD was Homecoming King and a member of the state champion 4x400m relay team. He is attending Pacific University where he plans to study Sports Communication and become a member of the wrestling team. DD has maintained an impressive 3.8 GPA while taking numerous advanced courses. He is widely acknowledged by classmates and teachers as a natural leader who consistently displays respect for others.
